Personality:
Lindsey would be the innocent and sweet lady of the school. She hides herself from others a lot and likes to run away when thins get too harsh. Never once has Lindsey actually felt high confidence. She likes to pretend to, but inside she's really (Usually) scared and sad. She likes to write a lot, often in her journal or on her computer storybook. She dreams of her parents both being here and usually wake up crying and missing her most loved.

On the outside, Lindsey seems like a very bubbly girl. She is a cheerleader, but is the very opposite of a stero typical one. She doesn't "diss" people or get too rude. Lindsey is a very sweet person and that's what's keeping her from becoming popular. (Please remember that this is the Lindsey that she pretends to be). Reality is much different but is only shown when she's by herself.

There's also the motherly side of Lindsey. Although she has no brothers or sisters (or any children) she tends to be protective over her friends and possessions. If one of her friends needs help, she's on her way. If any one of them gets sick, she's making chicken soup in their house. To put it in a sentence; Lindsey really cares about other people.

History:
Born in Las Vegas, Nevada to Lily Grant and William Grant, Lindsey was forced to attend the Youths Culture school which was located a few blocks away from her home. This continued on for nearly 6 years before Lindsey's mother passed away and the (now) family of 2 moved for the first time in their lives. Transferring to a new school was not extremely hard for Lindsey as she was capable of making friends easily. It was there where she met a very interesting person, Emily Hansen who was very much like her, personality wise. The two quickly became good friends and moved onto high school together.

By this time, Lindsey was already an orphan, lying to her friends here and there about the whereabouts of her parents. She also re-united with her favorite teacher, Ms.Bellbottom who came to the new school to teach sophmores. This would also be the first year where she first started cheerleading, quickly becoming captain of the team, for her preppy attitude and the amazing ability to make friends with just about anyone.

Then came the start of the junior year, where Lindsey got news from Ms.Bellbottom of a camp where she could attend. Happily, Lindsey said yes and packed herself to go.

In the airport, Lindsey was glad to see Emily there as well and the 2 girls swore to be "vacation buddies". Lindsey also saw (for the first time), Kyle O'Sullivan and whispers were exchanged to Emily about how cute he was. Pretty soon the announcements had gone on and Lindsey preceded to head towards the plane...which has flying her to a new place to live...

*Although Lindsey seems all happy and cheery everyday, she's really not. During her "alone" time, she cries often, thinking of her parents.

When Lindsey was just 13, her mother was found pregnant after a family vacation trip to New Mexico. This got the small family of 3 worried because Mrs.Grant was emotionally and physically weak and was suffering from heavy lung cancer. Worried that his wife might pass away from all the endurance of birth, quickly pushed her into abortion. However, is was during that procedure that the worst had happened. Lily Grant's water suddenly broke and was not discovered until a hour later, where the doctors (and Mr.Grant) realized that she was gone.

Lindsey, who was at the school at the time, received a phone call from a saddened father asking her to come home. A worried Lindsey told her friends of the requirement before leaving the school to take the bus. Once home, she was told of the news and instantly fainted. Unable to wake his daughter up, a scared Mr.Grant phoned the family doctor who came over and finally woken a crying Lindsey.

The next day, when Lindsey was asked of what had happened, she had put on a fake smile and said that it was nothing. Then she acted her school life as she always would, going back to her classes and cheerleading. However, because of the incident, Lindsey was often distracted and her marks dropped. Her teacher, Ms.Bellbottom easily managed to confront Lindsey in her private office. The frightened teen quickly spoke about why her marks had dropped and in the end, Lindsey had cried on her (new) favorite teacher for nearly a hour.

For the next 4 years, things seemed to get back to normal, as Mr.Grant and Lindsey lived their life as normally as they can. However, all of that stopped when Mr.Grant suffered a stroke at age 38. 2 days after, he passed away in the hospital, leaving Lindsey to care for herself.

The determined teen quickly made plans with Ms.Bellbottom who managed her a job working as a secretary for a large company (the front desk). Lindsey used her new-found money to pay off debts to the house. However, she still lied to everyone else in the school about her family, saying they were alive and happy. Never again did Lindsey invite people over to her house, in fear they might realize that the grand bedroom hasn't been used for nearly 2 years now.

Lindsey moaned. Pain was registering in every part of her body. It was both burns and blood that was covering her now, replacing the smoke. Through the ringing in her ears, Lindsey could barely hear Emily calling back to her. It took her a while before she could figure out who it was exactly that was speaking, but once she did, Lindsey pulled herself up (or tried to) and had a brief overview of the scene.

The first thing to appear in her eyes was the ocean, the crystal clear water, the sun shining off it and the large fish that she could see from her place. It all seemed to peaceful and seemed to calm her down a bit. Then the panic and thoughts of the pain came back to her as her head moved slightly to the left and her eyes landed on the burning aircraft. The flames were soaring high into the sky creating a dance-like scene in front of Lindsey's eyes. Panic and fear shot through her head. Oh my goodness. The fire. Who's going to survive?

The horrific scene was replaced by the vision of Emily standing there. Hope and joy filled Lindsey as she got herself on her knees and did her best to wave to her friend. Being able to see her arms for the first time, Lindsey was happy to see that they were unharmed, expect for a few scratches here and there. Using her left knee for support, Lindsey pulled herself into a standing position. Suddenly her eyes were forced shut as searing pain overtook her mind. It was her waist again. Reaching down, Lindsey tried to feel the wound. Her hand touched blood and was instantly pulled back.

Unable (and too scared to) open her eyes, Lindsey froze herself in mid-motion, scared that is she was to move, the pain would only get worse. At the moment, she wasn't totally sure of what had happened to her waist, but she did know it was bloody and very painful. Most likely it wasn't a broken bone, since it seemed to contain a large amount of blood. It was probably a cut or something. Lindsey bit on her lip to help her regain control of her mind and to focus it back to Emily.

It took a few tries, but soon Lindsey was able to open her eyes again. Unsure of things happening around her, she peered down at the left side of her weight, only too see a deep cut with blood smeared all over it. It didn't look too deep but was nonetheless dangerous. Thinking back, Lindsey realized that was probably the steel seat buckle that had cut into her unprotected skin (she was wearing a very small top). Lindsey was no expert on doctoral stuff, but she was almost sure that metal could lead to infections if the wound wasn't cleaned and cared for quickly.

"Ow..." Was the word that Lindsey muttered out when she tried to touch the cut again, hoping to at least stop the blood that was seeping out. At this point, there was no much blood that the cut could have been anywhere from 1 inch wide to 12.

I think you have a good grasp on the character and, yes, OCs are allowed, however, I'm not sure how you intend Lindsey to fit into the KP-verse. If I were you, I'd make both Lindsey's profile and Bonnie's, see which would be a better fit for you and for the site.
