A head start. Monty already had that. A chance to shed the curse of the Yono? Now that’s what he needed. Reportedly—ironically—the Middleton Museum had just the scroll Monty needed. How had he been so blind to overlook all the literature on the Yono? He—who had uncovered the very scroll years ago, himself! Oh, it was embarrassing. Degrading, even. But then, nothing could have been worse than being turned to stone. Sighing inaudibly, Monty signaled for his monkey ninjas to disable the security cameras from behind and flipped down from his perch. He’d been so used to being statue still that his patience had improved. He’d pretended to be part of the display for the last five hours. Still, Monty was thankful to be moving again. Careful step after careful step, he avoided setting off any motion detectors, as his loyal ninjas disabled them for him. Although he treasured his head start, he anticipated Stoppable’s arrival. Anticipated it. Looked forward to it, even. Monkey Fist was back. Alive. And that would catch the damn impostor off guard. And, honestly, who would believe the boy if he said that the dead had risen and crossed oceans to get to Middleton?
It really was perfect.
Monty smiled as he disabled the lock to the document storage room and entered, the scent of musty paper and old books permeated his large nostrils. For a fleeting second, he thought back to the library at Fiske Manor. His father’s musty old books—Shakespeare, Milton, George Bernard Shaw—versus his own collection—Confucius, The Vedas, the Kongou Kyou.
Read, Montgomery. You’ll learn more that way.
Indeed. He hadn’t associated the Yono with Tai Sheng Pek Kwar back then. How young… How blind he’d been. It didn’t help that neither he nor any of his expedition had been able to read the document back then. Now… Now he could. Now, he had to.
His life… His liberty… His destiny depended upon it.
Gently, with his gloved hands, Monty lifted the ancient, crumbling document and scanned it. A quick scan… Couldn’t hurt. It’s not like anyone knew he was still alive. And he had the power of the Yono on his side. Though that idiot youth now stood in Monty’s stead, petrified as stone, Monty still bore the sign of the Yono.
Maybe he was the Yono. Maybe that was his fate. But there was only one way to know.

Ron Stoppable
Wade gave him a heads-up: Monkey fist was back and was angrier than before. He was back with a vengence. Kim was too occupied with school work to come along. Being the slackeer Ron was, he had "misplaced" his homeowork and somehow, Rufus "ate it".
MnkeyMan was now the new Yono. He knew he should have brought Hana with him... it was too late to go back.
Clad in black, there he stood, holding a scroll and looking the same as he had when he last saw him. Rom was a little bit better ay fighting, but nothing drastically cool. Ron wasn't scaredof Monkey Fist, it was more like he was annoyed. He had a few gadgets Kim let him use and a naked mole rat.
"Put that scroll down, Banana Breath. It doesn't belong to you."
OoC: ron muse is bleary eyed and sleepy this early in the morning... Sorry. Bic

"Banana breath? Ooh.... that's original," Monty snarked. "Tell me, just how long did you spend coming up with that one?"
He snapped his fingers and before Stoppable could know what was going on six monkey ninjas pinned the boy to a nearby wall. Monty's eyes gleamed, appraising their handiwork. It would suffice and he was pleased. A twisted smile played on his monkey-like features, but his eyes narrowed, almost angrily, as he approached the pinned Stoppable.
"This scroll belongs more to me than it does in any museum. It is part of my destiny! It holds the key to my fate! Mine!" His voice was oddly high pitched, manic, almost. "You've tried to rob me of my life, my liberty, and my destiny before, Stoppable... You've succeeded once. It won't happen again. "
Another snap of the fingers and the ninjas released Stoppable.
"I'd love to stay and chat, but I'm afraid I have things to do, scrolls to read, and people to destroy. Cheerio."
In one leap, Monty would be on top of a display case near the roof and could escape. One leap...

Ron Stoppable
Pinned. By monkeys! To others, it would be like being pinned by snakes or sharks-- that frightening. But Ron pushed them away, used to them throwing himself on him like the high school cheerleaders did at Brick Flagg (Ron shuddered at that comparioson). "This scroll belongs more to me than it does in any museum. It is part of my destiny! It holds the key to my fate! Mine! You've tried to rob me of my life, my liberty, and my destiny before, Stoppable... You've succeeded once. It won't happen again. " "You can't say it won't happen again. Never try, never fail, and believe me, King Kong, I fully intend on trying." Were these Ron's words? Though Monty was unnaturally a monkey and a human simultaneously, he was still at least an ounce human. And in Ron's eyes, no human, no matter how evil deserved to have their whole life taken away from them, ripped from beneath their feet once more. There had to be a compromise or something...
"I'd love to stay and chat, but I'm afraid I have things to do, scrolls to read, and people to destroy. Cheerio." Ron measured the distance. And he found that it... wasn't far. So he ran as fast as he could, throwing monkey ninjas aside as he chased after him. Both in the air, they collided, both landing with a thud and a tumble to the ground. "What are you doing? Where are you going? Why are you leaving? What do you mean?" Kim told him to ask questions, but was this too much?

OOF!
Monty was tugged down by Stoppable and hit the ground with a graceless thud. Damn him.
"What are you doing? Where are you going? Why are you leaving? What do you mean?"
"Get the hell off of me!" Monty grunted, kicking Stoppable upwards and towards a nearby wall. There was the satisfying crash of a body slamming into a glass display case. Monty smirked, picked himself up and looked for the scroll. The molerat had it. Monty groaned.
"Give that here, you vile creature!" he snapped, diving for Rufus. The molerat slipped through Monty's monkey fingers. Growling, he snatched at the rat again. He needed that scroll and if there was one thing more embarassing than being defeated by Ron Stoppable, it was being defeated by the boy's pet.

Ron Stoppable
It was times like these when naked mole rats were better than monkey ninjas. They were agile, small and quickly. monkey ninjas wer big and trained. Not nearly as smart or talented as Rufus who had helped save the day numerous times.
"Thanks little buddy," Ron said from the glass that was now cutting into him in many different spots and angles. From behind Rufus, he saw Monkey Fist coming up, hands stretched out. "Run, Rufus, save yourself!" in doing this, Rufus dropped the scroll. "Its okay, little buddy. At least you aren't dead."

The molerat was at least smart enough to get out of Monty's way as he snatched up the scroll in his greedy, monkey hands. A wicked smile flickered on his face and he met Stoppable's gaze.
"Farewell, Ron Stoppable. As always... it's been a displeasure dealing with you."
Monty leapt on top of an undamaged display case and jumped to the glass roof. He broke through with a swift, powerful punch and a shower of glass shards fell down, signalling his departure.
