So maybe this whole "being evil again" thing wasn't the easiest thing Drakken had ever done. His henchmen were not particularly loyal and Drakken found himself without a fighting force. He'd tried tracking down Monkey Fist's monkey ninjas (rumor had it, the man was turned to stone. What could be easier than stealing a statue's army?). But when he did find the ninjas... well... Real henchmen don't throw food. At least. Drakken hoped it was food they'd been throwing.
So here he was. At HenchCo, filling out a "Hench-people Wanted" ad and trying to be inconspicuous. Of course, Kim Possible or the Buffoon might turn up any minute now to stop him and he would be mostly defenseless. Mostly. It wasn't like he didn't have a laser gun or two tucked somewhere in his deep lab coat pockets. Part of him was also a little apprehensive about Shego turning up. He hadn't exactly run this new plan by her yet. He didn't want to be a failure in her eyes again. And then, of course, if that blasted Newfield showed up, Drakken would have to do something terrible to that boy for mocking him.
So, in short, Drakken hoped no one would find him here. But, Drakken's Law was: anything that could go wrong, would go wrong.
Or maybe that was Murphy's.

Boring....
boring....
BORING...
Days just hadn't been the same anymore and Shego found herself without work, and so nothing to do. Which if you hadn't gathered yet, was boring. She could now be found looking for someone who would hire her in Henchco. Sitting on a chair with her legs on the nearest desk she could find and her thoughts in a magazine she held in her hands. Her black hair the same fashion as always and not interested in who came in.
Her eyes slid over the pages while the door could be clearly heard closing behind her, and yet she remained with her back to that very door while she flipped the page and crossed her legs once more only this time her left leg on top so her legs wouldn't get sleepy.
Leaning her head a bit back she moved some hair out of her eyes and went back to reading.
"And of course... I am not mentioned... how cute."

Drakken heard a familiar voice behind him and released his grip on the pen. His face split into a wide, genuine grin.
"Shego!" he exclaimed rushing to her side. "What are you doing here?"
It had been a few months since he'd last seen her. Drakken hadn't exactly wanted to admit it, but he'd missed her. Her snarky wit. Her mockery. Her presence. He'd been... lonely. Very lonely. He'd needed the time to bask in public adoration and to reflect privately on his next, strategic career move. But now, he knew that there was one place for him.
He belonged in the world of villainy.
The pomp and circumstance of being a hero was wearing thin. He'd been... bored. Forced to conform. God, he hated that. But how was he supposed to explain that? He bit his lip, looked around, and gasped.
"You... You're looking for a new job?!" he sputtered. "Shego? Are you?"
He couldn't have been the only one bored by all the hype. And it slowly made sense. Shego was never one to idly sit at the sidelines. She needed the fast pace, the excitement. Laying low, as they had since May, well... it wasn't her strong point. His, either. But... this hurt. She was looking for a new job? He'd never actually fired her. She'd never actually quit. It'd been a stalemate. A draw. A rut. They could still be a team. Right?
OOC: My apologies if it sucks. I had surgery on Wednesday and am on some serious painkillers. BIC:

At the sudden exclaim Shego for a moment froze. She however was with her back to Drakken so he wouldn't have been able to see it. As he rushed to her side she flipped another page and then looked to the side as he too was looking around asking her if she was looking for a job. She moved her hand up to her head and shook her head.
"No I am here to enjoy my day off."
She stated with a dry voice. Why else would she have been there. She had however figured he would have stopped his life of crime and so looked him over now she put the magazine aside.
"What are you doing here anyway?"
She asked with a bit lower voice and seemed only mildly interested in what he would answer.

"Looking for henchmen, what else?" Drakken said, running an agitated hand through his unkempt hair. "Seems most of the guys jumped ship when they thought I was going legit." Then, eyes downcast and voice soft and bitter, he added, "Didn't think you would jump ship, too."
He cleared his throat, an idea struck him. He smiled a tenative smile and met Shego's brilliant, green eyes.
"I'll raise your pay by twenty percent. Come back, work with me, Shego. Please?"
It wasn't quite a puppy dog pout, but there was an effective, fierce intensity in Drakken's voice. He was nothing without Shego. They were a team. Together, they could conquer the world. Together, they almost had. Slow to the uptake though he was, Drakken knew he needed her. He needed her more than he needed anyone else. Because he loved her...
... assistance. He loved her assistance. She was the only one he trusted with his plans, his life, his heart...
... 's desire of taking over the world.
Now all he had to do was convince her to join him again. Pay raise. Equal partner status. Whatever it took.

Shego rolled her eyes and went to look at her nails as Drakken spoke up again. She could have told him that would come. After all, she too was one who would hang around. But she liked the one thing more than anything else... money. She wanted it, or she would find something else. As she sat there his eyes suddenly went to meet hers in a strange way.
"What?"
She asked a bit agitated and then moved her hand up.
"I have something between my teeth?"
She asked and then went to try and find as surface she would be able to examine her face. She for now again ignored Drakken until he spoke up about paying her. Her eyes went back to him and she moved her tongue by her upper teeth before she moved her hand up to her chin.
Twenty percent... it would not be bad and all. The pout... of course the pout... she sighed and moved her hand down leaning a bit back.
"Would it make you stop pulling that face as well?"
She asked and moved her index finger out so the rest of her hand was palm up and her hands only loosely bend inwards.

Drakken smiled. "Deal." Then, a little petulantly, "I'll try not to make that face."
A sudden elation filled him. Hope was not lost. Shego would be working for him again. It would be just like old times. Maybe even better. He sat down in the chair beside of her.
"I take it we'll... erm... have to draw up a new contract?" he said, twiddling his fingers a little awkwardly. "I mean... we'll leave the no cloning clause in there and everything... Just... Have to make sure payment requirements are changed. And everything."
He was being surprisingly reasonable, for a man who only days ago had been mocked and downhearted about his ability as a villain.
